Public Resources Awarded Grant from the U.S. Department of Labor
The Employment and Training Administration (ETA) of the U.S. Department of Labor awarded Public Resources funds to train eligible "grassroots" organizations to connect to the local One-Stop employment delivery system.  Through this grant, ETA seeks to improve access to the programs and services offered under WIA to ensure the development of a talented American workforce. Funding is provided to help Americans access the tools they need to manage their careers with information and high quality services, and to help U.S. companies find skilled workers to remain competitive. ETA and CFBCI (spell out what this stands for )strive to leverage the programs, resources and committed staff of "grassroots" faith-based and community organizations into the workforce investment strategies already embodied in state and local strategic plans.  Find out more >>>
